ABOUT PROPQUANT LAB
Research before
risk.
PropQuant Lab is an independent research project for systematic traders who want to test a prop-firm environment against the behaviour of their own strategy—not marketing claims.
THE PERSON BEHIND IT
Rishat Tuktamyshov
I am a systematic trader, a researcher at Tickeron, and the founder of PropQuant Lab. I work with strategy research, trade-history analysis and risk management—and I also trade through periods of drawdown, not only smooth backtests.
This site is where I document the practical question behind prop trading: whether a particular set of rules fits a particular trading process.
THE SIMULATOR
What it does
The Prop Simulator reads a MetaTrader 5 report or CSV locally in the browser. It then replays the closed-trade sequence against selected prop-program rules and estimates challenge attempts, breaches, phase passes, payouts and historical challenge fees.
Your statement remains on your device: the file is not uploaded or stored by PropQuant Lab.

HOW THE MODEL WORKS
Rules are translated into a replay—not a promise.
01Capture the rule
Targets, loss limits, stages, minimum days, consistency gates, payout timing, profit split and stated fees are modeled for each selected program.
02Replay the sequence
The simulator applies the selected account model to chronological closed-trade P&L, resetting the virtual challenge logic after a modeled breach.
03Show the trade-off
The output makes challenge fees, simulated payouts and net historical result visible side by side, so a cheaper account is not automatically treated as a better fit.
IMPORTANT LIMITATIONS
Useful for comparison.
Not a guarantee.
- The replay is a closed-trade approximation. An MT5 statement may not contain intraday floating equity, MAE, spread expansion or the exact reset-time data needed to verify every equity-based rule.
- Prop-firm rules, account availability, eligibility, promotions and checkout prices can change. Always verify the current official terms before paying for a challenge.
- Historical results do not predict future performance. A simulated payout is not proof of an edge, funding eligibility or a future payment.
- Taxes, add-ons, resets, execution costs, slippage and differences between broker conditions are not fully captured unless explicitly stated.
